PSSAR was established and is operated by volunteers located in Canada, primarily consisting of academics affiliated with major Canadian institutions spanning from coast to coast. This core team is responsible for high-level decision-making and logistical coordination. Notably, the core team receives support from an enlarged and support teams. The enlarged team, comprising volunteers with specialized expertise, facilitates connections between Palestinian scholars and Canadian academic institutions. Meanwhile, the support team includes volunteers who manage important aspects such as website management.
Aymen Oweida, originally from Ghaza, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Sherbrooke, in Québec. He is a distinguished researcher in the field of cancer biology and radiobiology.
Baher Abdulhai has been a professor at the University of Toronto since 1998. He specializes in automated and transformative transportation systems.
Sofiane Baba is an Associate professor of strategic management at the Université de Sherbrooke. His research focuses on strategic processes and sustainability issues.
Amer Shalaby is a professor at the University of Toronto. He specializes in public transportation operations and planning, focusing mainly on crowds and congestion.
Lina Kattan, is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. Her research focuses on emerging transportation technologies.
Reem Sultan, is a staff pharmacist at St. Joseph’s Health Care London. Originally from Ghaza, Reem has recently focused on policy and legislative advocacy for Palestinians.
Nadia is an Associate Professor at University of Ottawa. She holds a joint chair in Women's Studies. She conducts research focusing on solidarity, feminism, social justice, and human rights.
Umar is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa. He is the Vice-Drean for Undergraduate Programs and Director of the Centre for Business Analytics & Performance.
Morgan is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Toronto. She studies atmospheric dynamics, especially hurricanes and supercell thunderstorms.
Charlotte is a full professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, where she also holds the Ian Telfer Professorship in Inclusive HR.
Amira is an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University in Denmark. Her work focuses on gender, social justice, poverty, and alternative economies.
