Who We Are

PSSAR was established and is operated by individuals located in Canada, primarily consisting of academics affiliated with major Canadian institutions spanning from coast to coast. This core team is responsible for high-level decision-making and logistical coordination. Notably, the core team receives support from an enlarged and support teams. The enlarged team, comprising volunteers with specialized expertise, facilitates connections between Palestinian scholars and Canadian academic institutions. Meanwhile, the support team includes volunteers who manage important aspects such as website management.

Nada is the Director of Student Services at PSSAR. She is a PhD student at the University of Waterloo in astronomy and astrophysics, and is passionate about making education more accessible. Nada leads student services at PSSAR, including coordinating volunteers and overseeing partnerships.

 Hanya is a Project Analyst at PSSAR with experience in nonprofits and the Ontario Public Service. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Toronto and supports PSSAR students through program development, fostering academic collaboration and empowerment through strategic initiatives and advocacy.
