The process begins when a student or a scholar in Palestine connects with PSSAR through our online platform. Students and scholars submit the online form and the required documentation (transcripts, diplomas, CV, etc.) PSSAR screens the application to ensure compliance with our guidelines. Students and scholars from Gaza and recent graduates (less than four years old) with outstanding academic records are prioritized.
Subsequently, PSSAR matches the student with a hiring professor. We currently have a database of over 60 registered professors and are constantly adding new ones. If a professor selects a student, PSSAR guides the student through the interview process and sets up the interview with the professor. After the professor confirms the student's acceptance, PSSAR will work with the student to complete the university admissions application.
After receiving admission, the PSSAR team will continue to guide students and scholars in their journey by assisting with the Visa process, travel, orientation, and settling in Canada. PSSAR is committed to remaining in contact with the students and scholars once they arrive in Canada by offering social networking opportunities, career guidance, mental health support, and academic skills training.
